As Executive Chef for The Rail, Alex focuses on product sourcing, recipe development, kitchen design, food cost and kitchen processes.
Alex worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years before joining Mike Mariola Restaurants in 2019. His passion for the culinary arts led him to ply his trade at different concepts and achieve the mantle of "chef" at both high-end restaurants and private country clubs. Now he devotes his time to developing and executing memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Alex is an avid golfer, despite the humbling nature of the sport. Alex has been a Pittsburgh Steelers fan since birth, as his team won one of their six Super Bowl titles on the day he came home from the hospital.
